Whether you plan to hold your event on campus, in a nearby restaurant, or somewhere far from Sheffield, we鈥檙e here to help. We鈥檝e gathered all our advice onto this page as a step-by-step guide to organising a reunion.

Choose a date

As the lead organiser of your event, it鈥檚 a good idea to choose a date before reaching out to your guests. If you鈥檇 like to give people a choice, select a maximum of 3 options and make sure these are far enough in advance that people will be available.

Select a format

You know you want to meet up with old friends, but think carefully about what format you鈥檇 like this to take. Will it be dinner? A tour of your old department? A full weekend of events in Sheffield, or a catch up in your current home city? with us to hear more about organising a campus-based reunion or a weekend stay in the Steel City.

Send your invites

Once you鈥檝e planned when, where and what your reunion will be, it鈥檚 time to start inviting guests! We can help by contacting old friends or sharing your event details on our website or social media. to get started.
